Once it’s time to refill the battery, you can plug the car into Level 1 and 2 outlets or a DC Fast Charging Station — where it’s capable of rising from 10 to 80 percent capacity in just 28 minutes4.
Interior
Inside the 2026 Volkswagen ID.4, you’ll find a spacious cabin with a variety of luxuries, such as the standard heated front seats with leatherette bolsters. Actual mileage and range will vary and depend on several factors including driving and charging habits, accessory use, temperature and topography, battery age, load, and vehicle condition. Battery capacity decreases with time and use. See owner’s manual for details.
2. Track performance time with ID.4 AWD Pro S. Always obey all speed and traffic laws.
3. Maximum tow rating for braked trailer only when equipped with appropriate third-party trailer brake controller and factory-installed towing hitch. Vehicle load, other accessories, and options may reduce maximum towing capacity. Towing reduces fuel efficiency and range. See vehicle Owner’s Manual for details.
