The ID.4 senses your presence and intuitively starts when you have your key fob and you sit in the driver’s seat, “waking up” automatically after the press of the brake pedal. Screens blink on, and the car is ready for the road. Just put your foot on the brake, move the gear shift to drive and you’re off!

Driver Assistance
A helping hand, where you need it
Light Assist
When driving at 18 MPH or faster and your surroundings get dark, the Light Assist driver assistance feature turns on to help make sure the road ahead is lit, and when your speed slows to 12 MPH, it turns off. You can set the high beams into “auto” mode, so they’ll automatically activate when there’s low light, and turn off when there’s an oncoming vehicle, or you enter an area that’s well lit by the environment or by traffic conditions.*
Park Assist Plus
The Park Assist Plus feature puts into perspective the “will my car fit” debate when you come across the perfect parking spot. Not only can it sense the size of a space, but it will also help you do the parking, from start to finish, as you supervise. Parallel, perpendicular, or reversing is no problem.*
Park Distance Control with Maneuver Braking
The available Park Distance Control helps take the guess work out of parking your car, while Maneuver Braking helps apply the brake automatically to help mitigate the chance of a collision with stationary objects while reversing into a spot. With Park Distance Control’s audio beeps and visual support, you’ll know if you’re getting too close to detected obstacles in front of or behind your car. It’ll also share additional information on your display, so you can see what’s behind your car as you reverse within a parking spot.*
Dynamic Road Sign Display
From traffic signs to speed limits, when you need a reminder about the signs on the road, Dynamic Road Sign Display helps share the information you want. It also features warnings for speed, restricted traffic zones and more, so you can remain focused on the road ahead.*
Overhead Camera View (Area View)
Sometimes the best way to see what’s happening around you is through cameras that can give you a wider view of those hard to see angles that surround us. Area View does just that by providing an expanded view of your car’s surroundings.*

Remote Commands*
You can access your car when you’re next to it or miles away. Remote Start your car (if equipped)*, lock and unlock the doors*, honk the horn, flash the lights, and more - right from the myVW app. Plus, with the Car-Net® skill enabled on your Amazon® devices, command Alexa®* to "Start my car"*(if equipped), "Unlock my car"*, or "Honk my horn."*

Forgot exactly where you parked? When you activate Car-Net®*, you can use the myVW app to find your vehicle –navigating you back to your vehicle with turn-by-turn directions.

Help keep your vehicle in tip-top shape when you activate Car-Net®* - just tap on Vehicle Health Report in myVW to access diagnostic information. The results will tell you when your next service is due and whether your vehicle might be due for a check-up at your local Volkswagen dealer.

Plug&Charge*
The Electrify America charging plan* included with your all‑electric 2025 ID.4 SUV comes with the convenience of Plug&Charge*. By activating this feature in the Electrify America app, you can save time when charging—you’ll simply plug in your ID.4 at an Electrify America station and, once the connection is established, it will start charging. It’s as simple as that.
At-Home Charging
Charging your ID.4 at home is made simple with the compact and portable 2-in-1 Mobile EV Charge Cable, capable of charging from standard 120v household outlets (approx. 1.2kW for about 3 miles per hour), or 240v outlets for quicker charging (approx. 7.2 kW for about 18 to 20 miles per hour). The 2-in-1 cable can be secured to your garage wall with the included bracket.*
Range: Now you can go the extra mile(s)
The Volkswagen ID.4 Pro can take you where you need to go with an EPA Estimated Range of 291 miles* making it a long range electric SUV. Range for all other versions will vary.
DC Fast Charging
The 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 SUV includes a 3 year Electrify America Pass+ membership* with Plug&Charge* and 500 kWh of charging included. Pass+ members save about 25% compared to the Electrify America Guest and Pass member base charging rate.
Electrify America currently has more than 950 stations and over 4,250 DC fast chargers along major highways and cross-country routes to help keep you charged on road trips.
Public Charging
Public charging is a great option when you’re on-the-go, and with an ever-growing network of more than 68,000 chargers nationwide*, it’s a convenient one too.
